Mimsy's Stitches is a Wife/Husband team living in the great dairy state of Wisconsin. That's it, that's the whole team! As a small business, we wear every hat and do every job. Find out a little bit about us below!

Miriam - Founder

Growing up, Miriam spent much of her free time sewing, knitting, and every manner of textile based hobby. After quitting a stressful job and spending some time unemployed, she was able to return to the things she loved, and wanted to share them with the world. Thus Mimsy's Stitches was born! Mimsy was her childhood nickname from her grandmother, and continued to be into adulthood so it fit perfectly. When Miriam isn't making cute embroidered sweatshirts, she's getting into the swing of being a new mom, reading a questionable amount of books, and continuing her other textile related hobbies!

 

Jasen - Co-Owner

Mimsy's Stitches wouldn't exist without him! When Miriam was unemployed and feeling lost, Jasen asked if she had ever considered trying small business ownership. His encouragement was the push she needed to move past her insecurities and go for it! Jasen started helping out by learning how to use embroidery digitizing software that confused the hell out of Miriam, and he discovered it was something he loved doing! When he's not doing digitizing, he's loving being a new dad, playing stardew valley, or listening to the latest Sanderson book.
